Seriously! Can someone please put a muzzle on Keheliya Rambukwella! His latest statement that he would “love to hire some hackers” is by far one of the stupidest things he has said. Yes we know you should be doing that in a strategic sense but the last thing you want to admit in public is that you are contemplating engaging in cyberterrorism. Please someone tell me that neither Keheliya nor Gottabhya have children, because the prospect of these stupid genes being propagated puts me in a depression.
My future vision of Sri Lankan politicians, neutered

He is an idiot. I’m beginning to believe that Tamilnet is launching a promotional campaign and our man Keheliya has been hired to do the job. Seriously.
I’ll see your future vision of SL politicians and I’ll raise you Keheliya’s probable reaction to his own soundbite.
Hackers. *snort* Maybe he’ll jabber about hiring a few mercenaries to blow up a server farm next.

Hehe just cos you asked, Keheliya has a son. Was my brother’s classmate back at Royal. Which reminds me, there used to be a circus of sorts in their classes those days because there were kids of Ministers as well as of Opposition Ministers and the two sides used to go at each other! And they were just ten. Lol

Keheliya is not unusually stupid, I think his intelligence is around the mean level for this administration. Same for Gota.
Mervyn Silva is probably below the mean.

the requirement for being a minister in the sri lankan cabinet is to have an IQ of below zero and to have a foot permanently lodged in the mouth. our wonderful defence spokesperson occasionally puts his other foot in as well. almost makes uncle mervin seem intelligent.

They just say it because they think its a big deal, when SL politicians talk they only think about cheers, but bloggers like you should not behave like them, staining the image of sri lanka because of a political party…..i assume you support UNP…when you write something always beware that not only sri lankans are reading this

Drac – that cat’s far too cute (yes I can think a cat is cute) to represent Keheliya:)
D – I believe I should have pointed out that the mouse is neutered…which is what I would do to the politicos we have now
Sach – damn, that sounds like a golden opportunity missed. If they had killed each other at least the stupid genes would not have been propagated
Jackpoint – please do not mention Mervyn Silva and intelligence in the same sentence, thoroughly incompatible!
Pissu perera – I’m loving the nickname (and the blog!), same point I made to Jackpoint. I would suggest one foot in the mouth and the other up the arse.
Poojitha – now why would you think me a UNP supporter? I suggest you read through the rest of my blog before making accusations like that. While Ranil’s move to ‘trap’ VP in the peace process was a good one he had neither the political acumen nor the strategic sense to ensure the move went correctly. His exposure of the LRRP was a mistake of monumental proportions and he didn’t know when to call it quits with the appeasement maneuver. Equally while Rajapakse has the right idea in responding militarily in providing the Tamil’s a political package he is frigging useless. Also the way he is responding militarily is hideously stupid.
How am I staining Sri Lanka’s image? I am responding to something a politician is doing/saying. Burying my head in the sand and pretending Sri Lanka is a peachy place is not going to achieve anything. You are confusing Sri Lanka’s politicians with the country herself, don’t, because they are not the same thing.
I don’t support any political party, and I will condemn anybody who I think is fucking the country up…irrespective of who they are.
