It was too long, felt overly pretentious and left me feeling rather exhausted from checking my watch! The story was okay but I didn't really feel like I connected with any of the characters enough to actually care what happened to them. It was all a bit 'meh'. I admit the deaf-club scene was an eye-opener, that was very well done. I do wish she didn't keep flashing her lady garden so often though! I wasn’t impressed with Babel at all. For some bizarre reason, quite a few of my friends were disturbed by the latter part of the movie (Japanese story - I'm trying to avoid spoilers!), but I think the bluntness forces you to pay attention...which is kinda the whole point. One of my friends is deaf so the club scene really hit home. Amazing film. I was blown away by Babel.
